Do you have a Gmail account? If you do, it comes with the Google Calendar.
Why am I suggesting it? The good thing about Google Calendar is that wherever you open your Gmail account (In computer shops, coffee shops) you can have access to your calendar. You can put in reminders, and it pops-up when that appointment you scheduled is near.
Looking for past and future appointments is also easy because you can just type them at the search tab and gives you all the results related to your query. Like, I forgot the birthday of my friend, Karie. I will just search "Karie Birthday", and her birthday will show-up.
