Dropbox: Your virtual attache case.

Do you have two or three e-mail addresses so you could e-mail files to yourself?

Well, I do. Aside from the fact that e-mail accounts have limited storage capacity back then, another reason is I made them my virtual attache case. I started having e-mail accounts way back when I was in college, which was year 1999 or 2000. I would e-mail to my group mates class assignments and other files needed for school. I would also e-mail some to myself since I don't like carrying diskettes with me all the time. When I get home from school, I will open my e-mail and download all the files I e-mailed to myself and work at home.

The bad thing about this, is it takes time uploading to your e-mail, sending it out, and then downloading from my other e-mail.

But now there is Dropbox. What does it do? Well, you literally drop all your files in it, and access it anywhere. You can download Dropbox at all the computers at your home. When you upload a file at Dropbox, you can access them from any of your computers at home.

I made a basic how-to for drop box. Here....
