It was the morning of May 18, 2025 when my brother told me he wants to go to Malaysia. He has not been there before. Before afternoon, we already booked a hotel and flight to Kuala Lumpur. The website we used is Booking.com https://www.booking.com/.
The hotel we checked in is Upper View Regalia Kuala Lumpur.
We boarded a flight with Philippines Airlines (coded with Malaysia Airlines) the very next day. We arrived Kuala Lumpur around 10:30 AM. Kuala Lumpur and Manila shares the same time. We went through the usual process of arriving visitors. We logged in a computer at the airport to do our arrival information. This is called the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card. It will be sent through email and you have to show this to the immigration officer. Be sure that you have good internet connection (there's free at the airport) and most of all, your phone has enough power. You may also do this in advance before arriving to Malaysia. For more information, you may visit their website at https://imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac/main.
We grabbed a bite from 4Fingers Chicken at the airport. They are originally from Singapore. Here is a link to their website: https://www.4fingers.com.sg/about-us.
We hailed an airport taxi and it cost us MYR 245.00 to get to the hotel. I highly suggest travelers to book via Grab app instead.https://www.grab.com/ph/transport/.
The driver of the taxi we rode, was reckless. He drove dangerously that he tried to change lanes last minute angering other motorists. Better to book a ride via Grab or similar apps because passengers can rate drivers and leave a review on them.
I will be publishing more blogs about our trip to Kuala Lumpur May 2025. See you guys!
